ABOUT THE SUMMIT

The Summit will bring together state and community partners who are actively shaping the future of Alabama families. These champions will come together to connect, collaborate and engage in meaningful discussions, create solutions, and take collective action to improve health and well-being of Alabama moms and babies. This event will mark the launch of our next phase of neonatal and obstetric clinical quality improvement initiatives.

By the end of this summit, participants will:

  • Increase their knowledge of current maternal and infant health issues.
  • Increase their knowledge of innovative solutions to improve maternal and infant health in Alabama.
  • Improve skills in clinical quality improvement and performance management.
  • Have had the opportunity to network with partners and community members dedicated to maternal and infant health.
  • Better understand the work of the ALPQC at the clinical, community, and convener levels.
